Professional Journey
Inspired by Hemingway's Green Hills of Africa, Javier began his hunting career in South Africa at 18, apprenticing as a guide and translator with Numzaam Safaris. He later worked with Tankab Outfitters in the Yucatán before founding Mexcan Outfitters—combining 20+ years of international experience.
Conservation & Community Impact
Javier's work reduces poaching by employing local subsistence hunters as guides, connecting conservation with economic growth. His efforts create jobs and protect wildlife while improving livelihoods in rural communities.
